85 gates of Medigadda, 66 gates of Annaram lifted due to flood

HYDERABAD: With the inflow at Medigadda barrage being 11.37 lakh cusecs, 85 gates of the projects were lifted to release the water. With 35,861 cusecs inflow at Annaram barrage, 66 gates were lifted on Saturday.

With the increase of rainfall in Maharashtra, there is an increase in the water level of Pranahita, which has led to the flooding of the Triveni Sangam near Kaleshwaram in Bhupalpally district of Telangana.

The water level of the Kaleshwaram reached a height of 12.9 m. The pushkar ghat was also flooded.
