Absolute rights on assigned, poramboke lands if voted to power, says KCR

NARSAPUR: Countering the false accusation of the Congress party that the BRS Government had been snatching assigned and poramboke lands of the poor through the Dharani portal, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) on Thursday said that the party in its manifesto already assured that pattas for such lands would be issued to the assignees.

Addressing ‘Praja Ashirvada Sabha’ in Narsapur, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi Chief condemned the accusations of the Congress and said that the Government had assured all the SC and ST MLAs that pattas would be issued to assigned and poramboke lands immediately after coming to power for the third time.

“In fact, Dharani stopped property-related crime in Telangana, otherwise the skyrocketing land values in Telangana might have resulted in property-related fraud and crime. By launching the Dharani portal we have secured your land rights,” KCR said. He said that the Government was able to transfer funds to the farmers with the help of land-related details available in Dharani. He wondered why Congress never thought of such programmes. “Rahul Gandhi says that he will dump Dharani in the Bay of Bengal without really understanding what it stands for,” KCR said.

He said that Narsapur constituency would be transformed into a golden nugget with Kaleshwaram water. “The Pillutla canal is almost ready. We will club Daultabad and Kasala and make it a municipality. As you wanted, we will create Rajampet mandal and grant an ITI,” KCR said urging the people to vote for the BRS.
