ABVP activists detained for trying to block KTR’s convoy in Karimnagar

KARIMNAGAR: Tension prevailed during the visit of Telangana IT Minister K T Rama Rao when a few activists of the ABVP tried to block his convoy in Karimnagar on Tuesday. KTR flew down to Karimnagar by a helicopter before leaving in a convoy to take part in a host of activities.

A few ABVP activists tried to stage a protest by blocking the minister’s convoy. Shouting slogans, The activists tried to create a scene in front of the convoy before being whisked away by the police.

The police, as a preventive measure, detained the ABVP activists.
