HYDERABAD: The Akkineni family and their group companies announced a donation of Rs 1 crore to support flood relief efforts in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. The contribution, with Rs 50 lakh each allocated to the Chief Ministers' Relief Funds of both states, was aimed at aiding those affected by the recent floods.
The family emphasised their solidarity with the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, expressing deep concern over the devastating scenes caused by the floods. "We stand with the people of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana in this crisis. The scenes on the ground are heart-wrenching. We pray that immediate relief reaches the affected people and are confident the governments will ensure a speedy recovery," the family stated.
The donation was made through Alufloride Ltd., based in Visakhapatnam, and Annapurna Studios, located in Hyderabad. Both companies are part of the Akkineni family's group of companies.
