JAGTIAL: AP Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena party chief Pawan Kalyan visited the famous Kondagattu Anjaneya Shrine in the Jagtial district of Telangana.
Pawan Kalyan left Hyderabad in the morning and reached Kondagattu by road. Pawan Kalyan’s fans greeted him on the way to Kondagattu. The temple authorities accorded a traditional welcome to Pawan. Later, he performed special pujas to the deity.
Pawan Kalyan who is currently in Varahi Deeksha, arrived at the shrine in traditional Deeksha attire amid tight security provided by the District superintendent of police, Ashok Kumar.
Pawan Kalyan became a staunch follower of the deity here after he escaped a near-death situation when he came in contact with a live electrical wire during a campaign when he was in the Praja Rajyam Party. He believes that only because of the Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy's blessings he survived that accident.
Pawan visited Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy on January 22, 2018, and again on January 24, 2023. This time he offered prayers as a thanksgiving gesture after winning the elections in Andhra Pradesh along with TDP and BJP and becoming deputy CM of that state.
