Arekapudi Gandhi belongs to BRS, not Congress: Sridhar Babu clarifies

HYDERABAD: IT Minister D Sridhar Babu clarified that Serilingampally MLA Arekapudi Gandhi belongs to the BRS party, not Congress, following confusion sparked by comments on social media.

Responding to remarks made by BRS Working President K Taraka Rama Rao, Sridhar Babu stated that Arekapudi Gandhi had clearly identified himself as a BRS MLA, dismissing any misinterpretation.

Sridhar Babu urged KTR to focus on resolving the internal issues of his party rather than blaming others. He pointed out that the public is closely observing the situation. He added, “We do not interfere in others' matters, and we expect the same from them. Let BRS solve its internal conflicts."

The minister also emphasised that Hyderabad's brand image must be preserved and enhanced, urging all parties to contribute to its growth beyond political differences. He criticised opposition attempts to damage the city's reputation, reaffirming that Hyderabad's image would be protected at all costs.
