HYDERABAD: Job aspirants staged a protest at the Telangana Assembly on Tuesday demanding the State Government to conduct the District Selection Committee (DSC) examination at the earliest.

The protestors, who were mostly Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT) candidates, gathered at the Assembly premises and raised slogans demanding that the Government release more jobs. They also demanded that the Government withdraw the order issued on the DSC and come up with a new GO that included all the vacancies.

The protest turned violent when the protestors tried to force their way into the Assembly. The police had to use force to disperse the protestors. The protestors also damaged some vehicles parked outside the Assembly. The candidates questioned how could the Government release only 5,000 posts when there were more than five lakh aspirants.
