Bharat Rashtra Samithi chief KCR, other CMs offer prayers at Yadadri

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president K Chandrashekhar Rao, along with his counterparts Arvind Kejriwal, Bhagwant Singh Mann, and Samajwadi Party president Akhilesh Yadav offered special prayers at Narsimha Swamy Temple in Yadadri on Wednesday.

They flew from Begumpet airport to Yadadri in two special helicopters. On the invitation of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao, all chief ministers arrived at Pragati Bhavan at 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday morning, ahead of a mammooth meeting in Khammam.

Chief Minister KCR also hosted breakfast for national leaders on this occasion.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Akhilesh Yadav, CPI leader D. Raja, and many other leaders and farmers representatives from across the country participated.

They reportedly discussed national politics as well as the situation in other states at the time. According to reports, Chief minister Rao also discussed Telangana's development and welfare schemes.

Following a special puja at the Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in Yadadri, the leaders travelled to Khammam to attend the inauguration of the Integrated District Collectorate Complex and to launch the second phase of the Kanti Velugu eye screening programme in the State. They would then take part in the public meeting.
