HYDERABAD: Former Member of Parliament, BJP leader, and leader of Padmasali Sangh Rapolu Anand Bhaskar on Sunday met Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and extended his greetings and appreciation over the steps his government is taking for the development of the handloom sector in the state and the welfare of the workers.

He expressed his deep displeasure against the BJP and the centre for the imposition of GST on the handloom sector and asserted that the BJP party is weakening the handloom sector.

Anand Bhaskar told KCR that he could not bear the atrocities on the people of handloom weavers and would resign from BJP and join T(B)RS.

He praised the welfare and development programs implemented in the state and wished that KCR would play a key role in national politics through the Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi.
