BJP renominates 3 sitting MPs; fields BRS MP Patil, son of Nagarkurnool MP Ramulu out of 9 announced

HYDERABAD: The BJP released its first list of candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections on Saturday. For Telangana, the party announced nine of the 17 candidates.

As expected, the party gave tickets to its sitting MPs Bandi Sanjay from Karimnagar, Dharmapuri Arvind from Nizamabad and Kishan Reddy from Secunderabad.

BRS MP BB Patil who joined the BJP this week has been given a ticket from Zaheerabad. In Nagarkurnool, the party has given a ticket to P Bharat. His father and current constituency MP P Ramulu joined the party this week.

Boora Narsaiah Goud who also shifted from the BRS has been given a ticket from Bhongir. In Chevella, the party has given a ticket to Konda Vishveshwar Reddy who joined the party in 2019.

Among the VVIP seats, Etela Rajender has been given the ticket from Malkajgiri. Virinchi Hospitals chairperson Dr Madhavi Latha will represent the BJP and take on Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi.
