HYDERABAD: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Revanth Reddy, on Saturday, said that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) were working together to decrease the Congress party's existence in the State and that the entire TRS MLAs poaching was a drama that both the parties staged together.

Speaking at a press conference on Saturday, Revanth Reddy said that both the TRS and the BJP were conspiring against the Congress and trying to take away the attention from Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Yatra in Telangana. He also said that the recent conflict between the parties was a drama to divert people's attention from the Congress. Revanth questioned why the MLAs who were bribed were not arrested and interrogated and why they were taken to the Pragathi Bhavan."How is the Prevention of Corruption (PC) Act anyway related in this case?" he asked.

"The police have to clear the air on this issue. Why did they take the MLAs to Pragati Bhavan when they also should have been questioned? The Telangana police are inefficient, the Supreme Court should order a special investigation on this case," the Malkajgiri MP said.

He also said that there was no update on the cases filed against Raghunandan during the Dubbaka and Etela Rajender during the Huzurabad by-election.The TPCC Chief accused Chief Minister KCR and Union Home Minister Amit Shah of trying to weaken the Congress together and starting the farmhouse conspiracy as soon as Rahul Gandhi's Padayatra entered Telangana.

Revanth Reddy also slammed the BJP candidate for Munugode elections Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy who dumped the Congress party. He said that the latter was bought by the BJP, putting the self-respect of the Munugode public at stake.

He urged the people to vote for Congress candidate Palvai Sravanthi and give a chance to women empowerment in Munugode.
