Addressing media outside the Assembly after the meeting, Srihari said, "The Assembly session is being held for six days but we have requested that the session be held for at least 12 days. The Government hopes to approve the budget soon. We pointed out that there is not enough time to discuss public issues."

Lashing out at Congress leaders, Srihari said, "Though many Congress leaders lost the elections, they are acting like MLAs in those constituencies. Without following protocols, they are taking part in Government programmes. The Congress leaders are running away in fear when the BRS is questioning them about their false promises."
