GAJWEL: Former Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has said that the BRS will come back to power in the state and rule for the next 15 years. He said that the Congress party has a trait that once it comes to power, it does all the crazy things and behaves in such a way that the people feel cheated.

Addressing ZP chairpersons who met him at his farmhouse in Erravelli on Tuesday he said that the Congress behaved similarly after the NTR regime in the past. KCR said that all the ZP chairpersons in the BRS Government had played a key role in the development of the state and congratulated all of them for completing their terms.

He said that the real politicians were those who work for the people, whether in power or not.  Stating that everything went on smoothly during the ten-year rule of the BRS, he said it was sad that after the Congress Government came to power, there were problems of drinking water as well as law and order and communal riots broke out. The officials who were there then should think about why the problem of peace and security had come up now after the Congress took over.

The BRS Government did what no previous government could do, KCR said. He pointed out that the party would create leaders but leaders could not create the party. " Can't those who are leaving the party after holding top posts stay for a few days if they don't have posts? People hate such leaders. Those who were in politics should have courtesy and seriousness, and some people say that they will erase KCR's legacy,” the BRS chief said.

BRS continued implementation of previous Government schemes like ‘Arogyasri’ and fee reimbursement without changing the names, KCR said. The Rythu Bandhu scheme was meant for all the farmers to stabilise agriculture but the present Government was trying to derail the scheme for various reasons, KCR pointed out.

He said that farmers would continue to cultivate crops throughout the year and corruption would be eliminated if Rythu Bandhu was implemented. He said the BRS would come back to power again. He said that the number of constituencies in Telangana could be increased to 160 giving more opportunities for women. He said that the reconstruction of Telangana would take more time.

He said that whoever gets the B-form from the BRS would be the winner. “Whenever there are local body elections, if you work a little harder, you will get good results. The process of forming committees at all levels of the party will be completed soon. Social media will also be strengthened,” KCR said.

KCR explained to the ZP chairmans how Hashmi, a professor in Bangladesh, helped create 71,000 savings societies for poor women and supported mayors in zero-pollution cities.

BRS working president KTR congratulated them for their contribution to the development of their districts. He presented Yadadri Prasadam and mementos to all the ZP chairpersons. The ZP chairmen and their family members expressed happiness over meeting the party chief along with their families.
