BRS winning 8-10 MP seats in Lok Sabha elections, KCR roadshow in Sircilla on May 10: KTR

SIRCILLA: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president and former Minister KT Rama Rao (KTR) exuded confidence that the BRS will win 8 to10 seats in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections as both the Congress and the BJP lost their credibility with false and unfulfilled promises.

Addressing Sircilla Cluster BRS workers here on Monday, he gave a call to defeat BJP’s Karimnagar candidate Bandi Sanjay in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections.

Chalking out a route map for the victory of BRS Karimnagar candidate B Vinod Kumar, the working president said party workers must convert people’s issues as the agenda for victory. “ The BRS lost with a wafer-thin margin in the recent Assembly elections. Congress came to power with false promises and within 100 days people realised that they were cheated. In this scenario, the BRS has a very good chance to win many seats including Karimnagar. Surveys are predicting that we will win 8 to 10 seats,” he said.

Coming heavily on the sitting MP Bandi Sanjay, KTR said that he did nothing for Karimnagar during his tenure. "Has he established even one school or college in five years? Has he built any temples or brought in any industries? Bandi Sanjay, who hasn't done anything worthwhile, doesn't deserve to ask for votes," KTR observed.

He added that the prices of essential commodities skyrocketed during Modi's tenure, and there should be a public debate about why people should vote for the BJP, which did nothing for Telangana.

He announced that BRS chief K Chandrashekar Rao will participate in a roadshow on May 10 in Sircilla. “The Congress Government is trying to intimidate BRS workers by slapping fake cases. I am with you in your fight. I know few have left the party for power. This is a tough time, but we must be confident,” he said encouraging the Sircilla town leaders.
