BRSV state president Gellu Srinivas Yadav arrested during protest

HYDERABAD: BRSV state president Gellu Srinivas Yadav was arrested by the police during a protest in Hyderabad on Sunday.

Srinivas Yadav, along with other members of BRSV, marched from Telangana Bhavan to Minister's Quarters, demanding the withdrawal of GO No 33 and changes in the state's medical education policy regarding local quotas. The protesters were stopped by the police and subsequently arrested.

Earlier, there were tense moments near Telangana Bhavan when the police confronted BRSV leaders. This led to a heated exchange between the police and BRSV workers.
