Centre approves four new medical colleges in Telangana

HYDERABAD: The Central Government gave approval for the establishment of four new medical colleges in Telangana. These colleges will be set up in Yadadri, Medak, Maheshwaram, and Qutbullapur. The Union Ministry of Health has issued the green signal for these projects.

According to Health Minister Damodar Rajanarasimha, the state had submitted applications for these medical institutions. Following this, the National Medical Commission (NMC) was directed by the Centre to grant permission for the establishment of these four colleges.
