HYDERABAD: Choreographer Jani Master, who was recently arrested on charges of sexual harassment, has been granted interim bail by the Ranga Reddy District Court. The bail was approved from October 6 to October 10 to allow Jani Master to attend a National Award ceremony.

Earlier, Jani Master’s bail petition was postponed by the Ranga Reddy Court. The Narsingi police had filed a counter to his bail request in the district's Fast Track POCSO Court, arguing that granting bail at this stage could lead to witness tampering. They requested the court to reject his bail application since the case was still under investigation.

Jani Master was arrested by Narsingi police after an assistant choreographer filed a complaint, alleging sexual harassment. Following the arrest, he was placed in judicial custody at Chanchalguda Jail. The interim bail will allow him temporary release, though the legal proceedings continue.
