CM Revanth Reddy launches senior journalist Saye Sekhar's book "WittyLeaks"
Revanth Reddy released "WittyLeaks," a memoir by journalist Saye Sekhar covering key political figures.
HYDERABAD: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy on Wednesday unveiled the memoirs of senior journalist A Saye Sekhar, titled "WittyLeaks."
The book, launched at an event in Hyderabad, is a collection of stories from Saye Sekhar's career as a journalist since 1988, beginning with his work for the Eenadu Telugu daily.
"WittyLeaks" compiles anecdotes and memoirs, primarily focusing on the lighter side of the lives of prominent personalities. Saye Sekhar's career has spanned across several Chief Ministers of the undivided Andhra Pradesh and the separate states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, including N T Rama Rao, Marri Channa Reddy, Chandrababu Naidu, Y S Rajasekhara Reddy, K Chandrashekar Rao, and Revanth Reddy himself.
The book also recounts Sekhar's experiences covering notable figures like the late Prime Minister P V Narasimha Rao, Karnataka Chief Minister S Bangarappa, and former ITC Chairman Yogi Deveshwar, among others. While many stories in the book are amusing, some, such as those surrounding the death of N T Rama Rao, are emotionally poignant.
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy congratulated Saye Sekhar for documenting untold stories that went beyond regular news coverage. Saye Sekhar expressed gratitude to the Chief Minister for his support in launching his debut book.
