Additionally, a resolution was passed acknowledging the significant contributions of the previous State incharge Manik Rao Thackeray, whose role was deemed crucial in the Congress' recent electoral victory in Telangana.

The TPCC unanimously passed a resolution urging Sonia Gandhi to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Telangana.

The meeting also focused on internal party affairs and external strategies. Revanth Reddy emphasized the importance of fulfilling the six guarantees pledged to the people during the election campaign. He stressed the need to identify and reward deserving party workers with suitable positions to strengthen the party's grassroots support.

The meeting also condemned the BRS of misleading the public by publishing books highlighting unfulfilled Congress promises even before the New Government completed a month in office. Revanth Reddy countered these claims, asserting the need to expose BRS propaganda and boldly highlight their alleged mismanagement of Telangana.

With the Lok Sabha elections approaching, the TPCC set an ambitious target of winning at least 12 of the 17 seats in Telangana. To solidify their campaign strategy, the party planned to hold review meetings with leaders from five districts each on January 8,9 2024. A dedicated meeting with in-charges for all 17 Lok Sabha seats would follow from January 10 to 12 to refine electoral strategies. Starting January 20, the party would embark on extensive field-level trips to connect with voters at the grassroots level.

Revanth Reddy further targeted the BJP for their alleged inactivity in criticising the alleged corruption in the Kaleshwaram project. He questioned BJP president Kishan Reddy's failure for demanding a CBI probe, suggesting personal financial gain as a possible reason.

In contrast, Revanth said that his Government had announced plans for a judicial inquiry into the project's alleged irregularities. Revanth criticised both the BRS and BJP for looting Telangana in the name of Kaleshwaram while neglecting other crucial projects like Palamuru.
