Speaking to TV9, KTR said, "The Congress has copied from the previous manifesto of the BRS and just changed the names of the scheme."

Elucidating his views on the schemes, KTR said, "We have come up with three new schemes along with existing schemes. I personally liked the KCR Bhima scheme. Every family with a white card is eligible for KCR Bhima. I also like the Annapoorna scheme where the poor will get fine rice. Though we are will have additional burden financially but for the welfare of the people we have decided to provide Sanna Bhiyam (fine rice)."

Saying that the Congress only makes tall promises, KTR said, "44 lakh people are getting pensions in Telangana now when compared to when the Congress was ruling. In 2004 and 2009, the Congress has promised 9 hours power but now they are promises only 3 hours of power. Re 1 Kg rice was promised but the Congress failed to keep up the promise. Do people of Telangana want to go back to dark ages by voting for the Congress?"
