HYDERABAD: BRS working president KT Rama Rao (KTR) has criticised that the Congress has brought people onto the road. During a review meet of Jubilee Hills constituency at the Telangana Bhavan on Saturday, KTR said, "BRS won by a huge majority in Hyderabad. We lost in many constituencies by a narrow margin. Cheating is ingrained in the DNA of the Congress. We should demand the fulfillment of every promise made by them. Telangana was given to them on a golden platter."

Stating that it is impossible for the Congress to defeat the BJP, KTR said, "Every party will leave the I.N.D.I alliance one by one. It is not possible for Congress to defeat the BJP. Even Nitish Kumar said that he could not bear the Congress and left the alliance. Only regional parties can stop the BJP."

Alleging failures by the Congress Government in Telangana, KTR said, "The Congress leaders said that they will implement six guarantees in 100 days. However the free bus scheme has become problematic. Six-and-a-half lakh auto drivers are suffering because of it. This is what happens if promises are made without substance."

Targetting the BJP for not developing Telangana, KTR said, "Kishan Reddy has no right to ask for votes again. He lost in the 2019 Assembly elections and won as Secunderabad MP only due to sympathy. He not only failed to develop his constituency but also failed as a Union Minister by not bringing any significant project to the State. The prices of essential commodities have hit the roof after Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister.

"The Congress came to power by making empty promises. Both the Congress and the BJP have a 'fevicol bond'. The Congress leaders are getting angry when we question them about implementing their promises. We need to give the Congress and the BJP a proper response in the Parliamentary elections. We should defeat their alliance," KTR concluded.
