The ministers highlighted that the Telangana Government was the only State assisting farmers, by allocating Rs 72 crore under the Rythu Bandhu scheme. Stating that the farmers of Telangana faced hardships due to the lack of power supply in the past, Niranjan said that the State is now prospering well with the initiatives of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. He also questioned the Congress of their vision and ideas for the development of Telangana.

The Agriculture Minister emphasised the significance of Telangana and asserted that millions of people were eagerly waiting for progress and criticised the Congress party for lacking an understanding of the essence and values of Telangana. Minister Reddy fumed at the grand old party for not acknowledging the sacrifices made by numerous individuals during the Telangana movement.

Claiming that the BRS government is providing 24-hour free power supply besides giving water for agriculture purposes, Niranjan Reddy called on the farmers and people to be wary of opposition parties' comments.

Jagdish Reddy, who also spoke on the occasion, questioned why the Congress party initiated a discussion on denying 24-hour electricity to farmers. He stated that this revealed the true intentions of the Congress party and demanded that if the Congress party's national leadership decided to provide round-the-clock electricity, it should be immediately implemented in the States where the party was in power.

Jagdish Reddy expressed his anger towards the Congress party's failure to provide 24-hour free electricity in Chhattisgarh, a state under their governance, despite its availability. He alleged that the people of Chhattisgarh were not receiving 24-hour electricity. He criticized Revanth Reddy for opposing free electricity and accused the leaders who supported him of applauding the cancellation of this policy. Jagdish Reddy emphasised the need for a discussion on the Congress party's policies regarding farmers.
