Congress will come up with portal more efficient than Dharani: Revanth Reddy in Bellampalli

BELLAMPALLI: Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president A Revanth Reddy has accused the BRS leaders of looting the entire Telangana State. Questioning Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) at a public meeting in Bellampally on Saturday, Revanth said, "BRS Government did no good for the State. There has been no development in Adilabad for the last 10 years under the BRS Governance and it remained 'underdeveloped' to date."

Revanth Reddy said how he convinced Dr Vivek Venkataswamy and his brother Dr Gaddam Vinod to be in one party and added, "The entire Telangana is looking at Venkat Swamy's family. Vivek believed in my words and joined the Congress party to sketch strategies to win against the BRS leaders - Durgam Chennaiah in Bellampally and Balka Suman in Chennur. KCR is lying about Durgam Chennaiah and Balka Suman who resorted to land grabbing and other illegal activities."

Revanth Reddy said that Dr YS Rajashekara Reddy inaugurated the Pranahita-Chevella project which was suggested by Venkat Swamy. He lambasted KCR and said, "Pranahita-Chevella project which was supposed to be constructed near Tummidihatti was taken to Medigadda. Kaleswaram project was supposed to be constructed at a cost of Rs 38,500 crore but KCR increased its budget to Rs 1,51,000 crore."

He criticised KCR for coming up with a faulty plan for constructing Kaleswaram Project and said, "Nagarjuna Sagar, Nettempadu, Koil Sagar, Sriram Sagar and many other projects which were constructed by the Congress Government are useful for irrigating hundreds of acres of land."

Revanth Reddy flayed the State Government for increasing the price of daily commodities and said, "I have a connection with Adilabad people. I started Dalit Girijana Atma Gourava Dandora from Indravelli and fought for girijans. The Congress Government will adopt Adilabad and will come up with new developmental schemes in the district after we come to power."

Revanth added, "In 2004, after YSR became the Chief Minister, he first signed on free electricity supply file and it was the Congress party that gave free power to farmers."

Revanth Reddy said Rythu Bandhu was started in 2018 and asked KCR, "How was Rythu Bandhu money deposited into farmer's accounts when there was no Dharani portal before 2020? We will come up with another portal which is more efficient than Dharani. Rs 15,000 will be given to tenant farmers under Rythu Bharosa and many developmental schemes will be implemented in the State," said Revanth Reddy.

He recollected how Sonia Gandhi kept her word of granting Telangana and added, "She will never make false promises and all the six guarantees made by Congress Government will be implemented in the State, once our party comes to power."

Revanth Reddy said that KCR and Modi increased the prices of gas cylinders to Rs 1,200 and added, "The prices of LPG cylinder will be decreased to Rs 500. Pensions will be increased to Rs 4,000 and Rs 2,500 will be deposited into every woman's account."

Speaking about the TSPSC exam paper leak Revanth asked, "Will the public support the Congress for giving many benefits to the people or KCR who looted Telangana?"
