ECI orders transfer of Karimnagar Collector B Gopi, Commissioner of Police Subbarayudu

HYDERABAD: Following the directions of the Election Commission of India (ECI) the Telangana Chief Secretary Santhi Kumari on Friday transferred Karimnagar District Collector Dr B Gopi and Commissioner of Police L Subbarayudu in the light of their ‘inefficient and poor performance’ in discharging their duties in the implementation of the model code of conduct laid down by the ECI.

In a GO (No 1497) the Chief Secretary instructed the collector and the Commissioner of Police to hand over their charges to immediate subordinates and report to the General Administration Department (GAD), Hyderabad.
