HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader and former Huzurnagar MLA Sanampudi Saidireddy has resigned from the party and joined the BJP at the national party’s headquarters in New Delhi.

Local BRS leaders Geddam Nagesh, Seetharam Nayak, Srinivas Gomasa (Peddapalli), Kothagudem ex-MLA Jalagm Venkat Rao also joined the saffron party along with Saidireddy.

“Five important BRS leaders have joined the BJP today. They are impressed by the development achieved by the decade-long governance,” Telangana in charge Tarun Chug observed.

In a statement, he said that the people of Telangana were fed up with the family-run politics and corruption in the State. “Only the father, son, and daughter will be left in the BRS,” he said. He said that ‘Bangaru Telangana’ would be possible only with BJP.
