Four killed as truck collides with car at Tummulur in Ranga Reddy district

HYDERABAD: Four people were killed in a ghastly road accident at Tummulur of Maheshwaram in Ranga Reddy district after a DCM truck collided with a car around 1 am on Friday.
According to police, four persons identified as Keshavu, Srinivas, Yadaya, and Ramaswamy from Veldanda were going to Hyderabad from Nagarkurnool in a car. The car was hit by a DCM vehicle near Tummulur in Maheshwaram mandal leaving three people dead on the spot, and the other died while being shifted to hospital.
The Maheshwaram police immediately reached the scene of the incident and shifted the bodies to the hospital for a post-mortem. The police said that overspeeding is the cause of the accident and registered a case.
