Free travel for Ayodhya darshan if BJP voted to power in Telangana, says Amit Shah

GADWAL: Union Home Minister Amit Shah has said that people interested in having darshan at Shri Ram temple in Ayodhya will be sent in phases, free of cost, if the BJP is voted to power in Telangana.

Addressing ‘Praja Sankalpa Sabha’ in Gadwal on Saturday, Amit Shah said that the Prime Minister would formally participate in the installation of the deity on January 22, 2024. “You want to witness the temple, and you must be hesitating that it would cost a lot. Don’t worry, the BJP Government of Telangana will send you Ayodhya in groups, but you have to vote for us,” Amit Shah said.

Accusing the Congress of delaying an amicable solution to the decades-long issue of Ayodhya temple, he said that the Narendra Modi Government at the Centre not only solved the problem but successfully completed the construction of a grand temple for Lord Rama.

“Here in Telangana the K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) Government following the dictates of Asaduddin Owaisi even stopped offering silk robes to Lord Rama of Bhadrachalam. KCR is afraid of celebrating the Hyderabad liberation day on September 17, fearing the Majlis,” Amit Shah said, adding that the BJP if voted to power would celebrate the occasion as a state function.

KCR did not spend the Rs 70 crore released by the Centre for the development of Jogulamba temple in Gadwal, Amit Shah said. “The time has come to give VRS to BRS and bring a double engine Government because KCR makes false promises and never keeps them,” he pointed out.

KCR established a world record in cheating people with false promises, he said. Gurram Gadda Bridge, Gattu Lift, Palamuru Ranga Reddy Lift, 300-bed hospital in Gadwal, a bridge on River Krishna, and 500 2BHK houses were few of the unkept promises of the BRS chief, he said.

He assured that if voted to power the BJP would consider adding Valmiki Boyas into the SC category. Alleging that the BRS Government had cheated BCs by spending Rs 77 crore in the budget of Rs 3,300 crore set aside in the budget. “Whereas BJP made a leader from the BC community as PM and allocated 27 portfolios for BCs in the Union cabinet,” Amit Shah said.

KCR cheated youth, in the past nine years, TSPSC examination papers leaked 16 times, and two aspirants including Pravallika died of suicide. But if you bring BJP to power we will fill 2.5 lakh Government jobs in five years, he said.

Accusing the BRS Government of massive corruption, he called upon people to defeat the BRS. “BRS with two generations enjoying the power is 2G, 3G is Majlis and Congress from Nehru to Rahul Gandhi is 4G, we must defeat all these corrupt generations and bring Narendra Modi who took Indian tri colour to the moon,” Amit Shah said adding that the BRS stood for Bhrashtachar Rishwat Samithi.

He alleged that the BRS resorted to corruption in Miyapur lands, ORR, Kaleshwaram, liquor deals, poultry feed scams, and Mission Kakatiya.
