Government keen on establishing construction university, says Komatireddy Venkat Reddy
He also emphasised that vocational skill centers and construction academies would be set up in every mandal across the State.
HYDERABAD: Minister for Roads and Buildings Komatireddy Venkat Reddy has expressed the Government's intent to establish a construction university in the State.
As the Chief Guest at the governing body meeting of the National Academy of Construction (NAC) in Madhapur on Friday, Venkat Reddy conducted a lengthy three-hour meeting with officials, addressing various issues and mentioned that the decision regarding the university's location would be made after a meeting with the Chief Minister.
He also emphasised that vocational skill centers and construction academies would be set up in every mandal across the State and that the details of the programme would be announced after discussing it with Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, who is currently on a tour in Davos and London.
He highlighted that vocational training centers established in each mandal in collaboration with TCS would benefit students and unemployed individuals and alleged that a former Minister had spread false propaganda regarding an MoU between NAC and a Dubai-based company.
