Group-4 aspirants protest at Gandhi Bhavan, demand immediate result announcement

HYDERABAD: Group-4 recruitment candidates held a protest at Gandhi Bhavan on Thursday demanding the immediate announcement of their results. Despite the certificate verification being completed two months ago, the final results have not yet been released, which the aspirants called unacceptable.

The protestors criticised the delay, comparing it to the prompt declaration of results for 11,000 DSC posts within 57 days, while taking over two years for 8,000 Group-4 posts. They demanded that the state government complete the remaining procedures and release the final results before the upcoming Dussehra festival. The protestors also insisted that jobs should be allocated to both DSC and Group-4 candidates by Dussehra.

The police intervened and detained the Group-4 candidates who had gathered at Gandhi Bhavan.
