Harish Rao accuses BJP, Congress of hindering Gajwel's development

GAJWEL: Former BRS minister Harish Rao on Saturday accused both the BJP and the Congress of hindering Gajwel's development and criticised their interest in seeking votes.

During a roadshow in Gajwel, Harish Rao said that BRS president KCR brought transformation in the region. He condemned the BJP and Congress candidates for soliciting votes, stating that the election represents a choice between those who obstructed Gajwel's progress and those who facilitated it.

Harish Rao questioned BJP candidate M Raghunandan Rao's ability to serve the Medak constituency, citing his lack of action after winning as an MLA in Dubbaka.

He criticised the BJP's distribution of calendars, stating that it doesn't address people's basic needs, and labeled the party as anti-poor and anti-farmer.

Harish Rao also slammed Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for unfulfilled promises and the party's failure to address water shortages and power cuts. He accused the Congress of suspending grants worth Rs.150 crore released by the previous the BRS government.

In support of BRS Medak candidate P Venkatram Reddy, Harish Rao urged Gajwel voters to vote for him and defeat the Congress in the Lok Sabha elections. He aimed to teach Revanth Reddy a lesson for his criticism of KCR.

Harish Rao said BRS candidate Venkatram Reddy is committed to serving the people and highlighted his experience as a public servant and his dedication to education, job training, and women's empowerment.

Medak MP candidate Venkatram Reddy expressed his gratitude for the support received over the years and pledged to continue serving the people. He promised to prioritise education, job opportunities, and women's empowerment if elected as MP.
