HYDERABAD: Siddipet MLA Harish Rao has questioned Chief Minister Revanth Reddy over the continued non-payment of rent for Gurukul Schools in Telangana.
Harish Rao criticised the Congress government for its handling of the education system, asking when the dues for the schools would be cleared.
In a tweet, Harish Rao highlighted a recent incident in Jayashankar Bhupalpally district where the landlord locked a minority residential school due to 10 months of unpaid rent. He pointed out that this was another example of the deteriorating state of Gurukul Schools under Congress rule.
Harish Rao also asked Revanth Reddy, who is also the Education Minister, when he would address the concerns about the declining education system, adding that this issue has been ignored for too long under the current government.
