HYDERABAD: The Telangana High Court has dismissed multiple petitions challenging the Group-1 notification, allowing the Mains examinations to begin as scheduled on October 21.

The petitioners approached the court, claiming discrepancies in the preliminary exam's final answer key, specifically regarding seven questions. They demanded that marks be recalculated and a revised list of eligible candidates be issued.

After reviewing the cases, the High Court ruled in favour of the Telangana State Public Service Commission (TSPSC), allowing the exams to proceed without delay. The court had previously reserved its judgment on Monday but announced the verdict on Tuesday, dismissing all related petitions.

Over 15 cases were filed against the Group-1 process, including those challenging the validity of the final answer key and others concerning reservations and the allocation of new posts. Despite these challenges, the court's decision ensures that the Mains exams will be conducted from October 21 to 27.

The exams will be held daily from 2 PM to 5 PM, with candidates allowed entry from 12:30 PM. TSPSC has already completed all necessary arrangements and released hall tickets on Monday. The tickets will remain available until the day before the exams, with 31,382 candidates expected to appear.
