Hyderabad : 29 BJP workers booked for storming TRS MLC Kavitha's house

HYDERABAD: Hyderabad police on Monday booked cases against 29 Bhartiya Janata Party workers for allegedly storming TRS MLC K Kavitha's residence on Banjara Hills Road No. 14 on Monday.

Reportedly, the BJP workers stormed the house of Kavitha because she denied the charges by a Delhi BJP MLA about her role in the Delhi State Government's liquor policy.

Dozens of BJP workers stormed the Banjara Hills police station on Monday night, demanding the release of those detained on Monday evening.

Workers from the Bharatiya Janata Party, BJYM, and the BJP Mahila Morcha attempted to storm MLC Kavitha's home. Reportedly, few even sustained injuries in the incident.

Telangana Minister Talsani Srinivas Yadav and MLAs Maganti Gopinath and Danam Nagender visited MLC Kavitha's house to express solidarity in response to BJP workers' attack on MLC Kavitha's residence on Monday.
