IT raids conducted at multiple locations in Hyderabad, surrounding districts

HYDERABAD: Income Tax (IT) officials launched a series of raids across Hyderabad and its surrounding districts, including Ranga Reddy, Medak, and Sangareddy, targeting prominent real estate businesses and political figures. The coordinated operation saw searches at 30 locations simultaneously.

Among the key targets were homes and offices of real estate businessmen from Vijayawada operating in Kollur, Raidurgam, and the IT Corridor. Notably, searches were conducted at the offices of Googi Properties and Developers in Dilsukhnagar's Chaitanyapuri, and at the residences of Congress leader Sheikh Akbar in Malakpet, along with 15 offices of Googi Properties.

The raids also focused on Anvitha Builders, including its head Boppana Achyutha Rao and his family members Boppana Srinivasa Rao and Boppana Anus. IT officials thoroughly examined documents and seized mobile phones as part of their investigation. The searches were conducted under tight security, preventing anyone from leaving the premises during the process.
