HYDERABAD: Telangana Minister for Power G Jagdish Reddy on Saturday slammed Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy stating that the latter was bought over by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) with a whopping Rs. 22,000 crore contract to his company to switch sides from the Congress to the BJP. The Minister accused the by-election for the Munugode constituency was corrupted due to the selfishness of Raj Gopal Reddy.

Responding to Komatireddy Raj Gopal Reddy's claims where he admitted that he was in touch with the BJP, Jagdish Reddy said that it was not moral on his part to contest the elections. He said he would complain to the Election Commission of India against Raj Gopal Reddy.

Jagadish also accused the Central BJP leaders of hatching conspiracies in Munugode constituency byelections only to burden Chief Minister KCR with filthy politics as the BJP could not stand the emergence of Bharat Rashtra Samithi. He urged the people to think before voting.

The Minister also said that Raj Gopal Reddy was wrong for leaving the Congress as the party always stood by him.
