Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy faced severe criticism from Joginis, who expressed their dissatisfaction with the arrangements at the Balkampet Yellamma Temple. The Joginis blamed the Congress government for failing to organise the Rathotsavam properly.

The Joginis cursed the government and the Telangana police department, predicting their downfall due to the mismanagement. They voiced their frustration, stating that there is no effective governance in Telangana, questioning the actions of the police and officials. They lamented that the Yellamma Rathotsavam, which should have been celebrated with grandeur, lacked public participation.

The Joginis were particularly upset about the absence of essential elements such as a band, drums, and other musical instruments during the Rathotsavam. They criticised the temple's executive officer and the government for their negligence. They emphasized the importance of sincere devotion to the goddess, stating that they participate with heartfelt dedication and follow strict rituals. However, they felt no joy in the arrangements made this year.

Expressing their discontent, the Joginis declared that the Congress government had utterly failed in organising the Yellamma Rathotsavam.
