HYDERABAD: The Telangana Government allocated two acres of land in Uppal Bhagayat village for the construction of 'TUWJ Bhavan' for the Telangana Union of Working Journalists (TUWJ). A Government Order (GO) was issued to this effect on Thursday.

Allam Narayana, Chairman of the Media Academy and President of TUWJ, expressed gratitude to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Municipal and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao. He stated that the dream of journalists had come true with the efforts of Telangana Journalist Forum, which played a crucial role in the Telangana movement.

Further, Allam Narayana also acknowledged the efforts of union leaders, MLA Kranti Kiran, and TUWJ Union Vice-President Ramesh Hazare, who were working towards the goal of setting up a Bhavan for the past five years. Narayana said that the Telangana Journalist Bhavan would serve as a venue for journalist associations and programs affiliated with the Telangana Union of Working Journalists.
