Junior NTR consoles cancer patient, promises support
A 19-year-old fan battling blood cancer requested to watch Junior NTR’s 'Devara' before he dies. The actor responded with a video call.
HYDERABAD: A video of 19-year-old Kaushik, a blood cancer patient from Andhra Pradesh, recently went viral after he expressed his dying wish to watch Junior NTR’s upcoming film 'Devara'.
Kaushik, an ardent fan of the actor, has been battling blood cancer and is currently undergoing treatment at Kidwai Hospital in Bengaluru. Doctors informed his family that he only has a few days left to live.
In the video, Kaushik asked to watch 'Devara' before his death. His mother also appealed to leaders Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and Junior NTR to fulfil her son’s last wish.
In response to the viral video, Junior NTR personally reached out to Kaushik through a video call. The actor expressed his encouragement, saying, "I’m happy to see you smile. Stay strong, and you will watch 'Devara' after recovering. First, you must get better." He also reassured Kaushik’s mother, saying, "Stay strong, and Kaushik will draw strength from you. I will personally ensure that he gets all the necessary treatment."
This heartwarming interaction between the actor and his fan has since gone viral on social media.
