HYDERABAD: Minister for Finance and Health T Harish Rao has warned the people of Telangana to not fall prey to the false promises of Congress and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leaders and urged them to vote for K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) if they wanted free power and development.

Addressing a meeting in Ibrahimpatnam on Thursday, Harish Rao said that farmers in neighbouring Karnataka State ruled by the Congress were receiving just eight hours of power and power holidays were imposed on the industrial sector.

“Even Bengaluru city is facing a four-hour power cut. On top of it, Revanth Reddy says that only three hours of power is enough for Telangana farmers. The BJP wants to fix meters to agricultural pump sets. Why pick darkness and bad luck when the brightest star KCR is with you,” Harish Rao said.

Enlisting various development programmes launched by KCR Government, Harish assured that the problems faced by Village Administrative Officers (VAOs) would be solved very soon.

Describing Eenadu as an institution empathetic towards the problems of the poor people, particularly during natural calamities, Harish Rao said that the foundation also offered to construct a hospital in Ibrahimpatnam.

“After the formation of Telangana, Ranga Reddy region developed at rocket speed. Recently Tamil superstar Rajnikanth came to Hyderabad and said that the city looks like New York. Not only urban areas but rural Telangana is receiving awards,” Harish said wanting people to bless the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Government and bring it back for the third time.
