HYDERABAD: TRS MLC Kavitha has been invited to the historic Bathukamma celebrations in the Australian Parliament on September 25, 2022. Bathukamma festival celebrations will be held in Parliament House, Canberra, on September 25, 2022, by the Federation of Indian Associations of the ACT (FINACT).
The Australian Parliament will be witnessing Telangana's popular Bathukamma celebrations. The event will welcome Federal and Australian Capital Territory(ACT) ministers, as well as participants from across Australia.
MLC Kavitha has been a global ambassador for Bathukamma celebrations. Her involvement with the Bathukamma festival, as well as its role in culturally aligning and mobilising the people during the Telangana movement, is etched in cultural movement history.
