KAMAREDDY: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao announced the allocation of Rs 50 crore from the Chief Minister's Special Development Fund for the development of the Banswada constituency at a public gathering on Wednesday.

The Chief Minister announced the allocation of Rs 7 crore for the development of the Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Timmapur during a public meeting following his temple visit.

He said that Rs.23 crores had already been allocated for the temple's development, with an additional Rs.7 crores being allocated today. He recommended that the funds be utilised to beautify the temple. He recalled visiting Thimmapur and the Venkateshwara Swami temple in the past. He said that the temple has become more beautiful, with farmland and a pond surrounding it.

The Chief Minister said that, revealed that funds of Rs.50 crore are being allocated under the CM's Special Development Fund for the development of Banswada constituency.

According to KCR, the Banswada constituency has grown significantly under the leadership of Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy. He commended Speaker Pocharam for being a good soul to everyone and understanding everyone. He recalled Pocharam's resignation from his MLA seat during the Telangana movement. Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, he claimed, would fight like a child for the development and welfare of his constituency. He said that Banswada needs Pocharam's services. He encouraged him to contest in the next election as well.

The Chief Minister said, we have lost Singur water in the united Andhra Pradesh. Telangana farmers have experienced numerous obstacles to getting irrigation water. He said that no matter how many times he appealed in the undivided Andhra Pradesh, the rulers of the day ignored him. KCR said that Nizamsagar water is yet another reason for starting the Telangana movement.

Earlier on Wednesday, the Chief Minister and his wife Shoba paid a visit to Timmapur's Venkateswara Swami Temple.

The devasthanam pandits greeted the couple with full kumbham. A two-kg gold crown crafted by the family of Speaker of the Legislative Assembly Pocharam Srinivas Reddy was presented to Swamy by the chief minister and his wife.

Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and the couple honored Chief Minister KCR with silk clothes on this occasion. Speaker Pocharam presented the memento to Chief Minister KCR on behalf of the Venkateswara temple.
