HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) president and Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has no moral right to live in this country since he failed to protect democracy and disrespected the Constitution, judiciary, and national flag, said Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Telangana President Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Thursday.

Sanjay unfurled the Tri-colour at the BJP state headquarters in Hyderabad to mark India's 74th Republic Day. Addressing on the occasion, he told his party functionaries that the Chief Minister had insulted Dr B R Ambedkar by refusing to hold the Republic Day Parade at Secunderabad Parade Grounds despite the High Court orders.

Accusing KCR of constantly disrespecting a female Governor, the BJP leader questioned the BRS leadership's attitude toward women. "KCR has been calling chief ministers from other states to prop up his BRS but does he have the courage to advise them not to invite the governors of their respective states to the Republic Day celebrations?" he asked.

Bandi Sanjay asked the people to choose between a Constitution drafted by Dr B R Ambedkar that allows the country to hold its head high and the 'Kalvakuntla constitution, which, he said, requires everyone to drop their heads.

The BJP, according to Sanjay, would fight for a democratic Telangana in the spirit of Dr B R Ambedkar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Republic-Day celebrations at the BJP state party office were attended by several senior BJP leaders.
