KCR hands over B Form for Narsapur to Sunitha Laxma Reddy, Madan Reddy assured Medak MP seat

HYDERABAD: Putting an end to the ongoing suspense on the Narsapur Assembly seat, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) party Chief K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) declared State Women’s Commission Chairperson and former Minister Vakiti Sunitha Laxma Reddy as its candidate for the Narsapur Assembly constituency.

KCR handed over party B Form to Sunitha Laxma Reddy at Pragathi Bhavan on Wednesday, in the presence of Chilumula Madan Reddy the present Narsapur MLA. The party assured Madan Reddy that he would nominated as the party candidate for the Medak MP post.

A decision in this regard was taken by the party core committee that met under the chairmanship of the party Chief. KCR appreciated the unanimous decision taken by the core committee to make an internal adjustment of seats with the total acceptance of both candidates.

“I have known Madan Reddy for a long time. We have known each other for the past 35 years. He is like my brother and a right hand,” KCR said after handing over B forms to Sunitha Laxma Reddy. Madan Reddy took the responsibility of winning the seat for the BRS and the Medak Loksabha seat now represented by party MP Prabhakar Reddy would be given to Madan Reddy, KCR said.

Thanking the party senior leaders and the executive members for recognising the seniority of Madan Reddy, KCR said: “Madan Reddy is one of the most popular leaders not only in Narsapur but in erstwhile Medak district. He is non controvercial and apolitical. The party has decided to utilise his services on a much bigger canvas.”

KCR said that he was happy to hand over the B Form to Sunitha Laxma Reddy. “Madan Reddy enhanced his stature by accepting the change that the party has sought to bring about,” he said while congratulating Sunitha Laxma Reddy. Minister for Finance and Health T Harish Rao was also present.
