KCR likely to announce name of national party on Dasara

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao will be holding an important meeting on Wednesday to make a key announcement regarding his entry into national politics.

He was likely to officially announce the name of the national party. It was speculated that Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi would be picked by KCR. Other names like Nava Bharatiya Rashtra Samithi and Maha Bharat Rashtra Samithi were also considered. Reportedly, he would also disclose names of the national party members.

It was expected that along with all the key leaders of the TRS, leaders of political parties from neighbouring States would also attend this meeting. JDS leader and former Karnataka Chief Minister Kumaraswamy, Viduttalai Chiruthtaigal Katchi (VCK) leader and MP Thirumavalavan from Tamil Nadu would also be present.
