KCR to resume election campaign from Thursday, to address 35 meetings before filing nominations

HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) will resume his election campaign on Thursday after a brief break for the Dasara festival.

Earlier, KCR addressed seven public meetings at Husnabad, Janagaon, Bhuvanagiri, Siricilla, Siddipet, Jadcherla and Medchal between October 15 and 18 and scheduled at least 35 more public meetings to spearhead the campaign for the BRS.

The Chief Minister would address at least 35 more public meetings before he would file nominations at Gajwel on November 9 and then Kamareddy. The BRS Chief would address meetings at Achampet, Wanaparthy, and Munugodu on Thursday, and Paleru, Mahbubabad and Wardhannapet on Friday.

KCR will address public meetings at Kodad, Tungaturthi and Aleru on October 29, Jukkal Banswada and Narayankhed on October 30, Huzurnagar, Miryalaguda and Deverakonda on October 31, Sattupalli and Illendu on November 1, Nirmal, Balkonda and Dharmapuri on November 2, Bhainsa, Armoor and Korutla on November 3, Kothagudem and Khammam on November 5, Gadwal, Maktal and Narayanpet on November 6, Chennur, Manthani and Peddapalli on November 7 and Sirpur, Asifabad and Bellampalli on November 8.

The Chief Minister was to address Nagakurnool, Achampet and Munugodu on October 26 but the meeting at Nagarkurnool was dropped and Wanaparthy was added. Similarly, Station Ghanpur was dropped from the October 27 schedule.
