HYDERABAD: At a time when the political parties in the country are running after power and leaders are leapfrogging from faction to faction, Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is committed to spreading Telangana mark development all across the country, said BRS Chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

Addressing several leaders from Solapur and Nagpur of Maharashtra that joined the BRS on Saturday at the Telangana Bhavan, he said that the expansion of the party would take place from Maharashtra, then Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh and the entire nation.

“Let us have a massive public meeting in Solapur in at least a 50-acre ground, I will send Harish Rao to oversee the arrangements. It is my promise that I will bring Telangana kind of development to Solapur and Maharashtra,” KCR said.

Reiterating the unflinching “Roti Beti” bond of Telangana with the neighboring State of Maharashtra, BRS Chief called upon the youth to usher in a qualitative change in the way politics were run in the country.

“India is endowed with rich natural resources and abundant river water. But they are not distributed equitably,” KCR said adding that BRS with its farmer-centric ideology of ‘Ab ki bar kisan sarkar’ would bring required qualitative changes in the country.

He invited the newly joined cadre from Maharashtra to visit the projects built by the Telangana government to understand river water management for the common good of the people. KCR called for subsidies and financial support to farmers in India and said that countries considered superpowers also provided assistance to farmers.
