KCR worships at Yadadri temple, donates gold to 'divya vimana gopuram'

HYDERABAD: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR), along with his wife Shobha, visited the popular Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple of Yadadri on Friday. The couple worshipped by performing special poojas to the presiding deity. Temple authorities accorded a traditional welcome to the Chief Minister and his family. KCR, on this occasion, donated one kg and 16 tulas of gold to the temple's 'divya vimana gopuram'. His grandson Himanshu formally handed over the gold to fulfill the Chief Minister's earlier promise.
Due to KCR's visit to the Yadadri temple, the police had imposed traffic restrictions in several parts of Hyderabad. Restrictions were imposed at NGRI Metro Station, Uppal X Roads, Boduppal, McDonald's, Ghatkesar, Bibinagar and Yadadri as the Chief Minister travelled by road.
The Chief Minister was also accompanied by a battery of ministers including Indrakaran Reddy, Jagadish Reddy and Vemula Prashanth Reddy besides party MPs, MLAs, MLCs and officials during his visit to the hill shrine.
