Kodangal people should teach lesson to Revanth Reddy: KCR

KCR recalled how Revanth Reddy was caught red-handed when he was trying to bribe an MLC with Rs 50 lakh. KCR asserted that Revanth Reddy didn't change a bit even after going to jail.

Kodangal: BRS president and Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) has said that the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee(TPCC) president Revanth Reddy is facing a lot of flak from his own party leaders for selling tickets. He urged voters to throw out Revanth Reddy from Kodangal. KCR also said that Kamareddy people would teaching a fitting lesson to Revanth.

Speaking at a public meeting in Kodangal on Wednesday, KCR recalled how Revanth Reddy was caught red-handed when he was trying to bribe an MLC with Rs 50 lakh. KCR asserted that Revanth Reddy didn't change a bit even after going to jail.

The Chief Minister said that Revanth Reddy had grabbed many acres of land from Kodangal and questioned the public, "Do they want Revanth Reddy who made false promises or Patnam Narender Reddy who kept his word?." He added that Congress leaders didn't have any commitment and said that they were only interested in earning money.

Rao expressed confidence that the BRS would definitely win the upcoming polls. He said that no development took place in Kondangal when Revanth Reddy was the MLA and added that Patnam Narender Reddy always worked hard for the well-being of the people of Kodangal.

KCR said that, "If Patnam Narender Reddy wins the upcoming polls then Rythu Bandhu will be increased to Rs 16,000 per acre. The Congress leaders are making baseless allegations regarding 3 hours of power supply, installing 10 hp motors to the agricultural lands and other welfare schemes in the State."
