HYDERABAD: BRS Working President K Tarakarama Rao has filed a defamation case against Endowments Minister Konda Surekha in the Nampally Special Court.

KTR's legal counsel, Uma Maheshwar Rao, submitted the petition on his behalf, accusing Surekha of making defamatory remarks that tarnished his reputation.

KTR, in his petition, referred to Surekha’s comments, which he claims were false and damaging, particularly regarding phone tapping allegations and statements linking him to the separation of actors Naga Chaitanya and Samantha. He expressed concern that such baseless accusations were aimed at harming his public image.

The defamation petition lists several witnesses, including Balka Suman, Satyavathi Rathod, Thula Uma, and Dasoju Sravan.
