HYDERABAD: Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao has said that both the BJP and the Congress have lost credibility and the people are disillusioned by both the national parties.

Reviewing the Peddapalli and Warangal Parliamentary Constituencies here on Monday with the senior leaders. KTR predicted that the BRS candidates would win defeating their nearest rivals.

“There is anger against the Congress Government in the State and it is growing day by day, particularly in the farming community. On the other hand, the BJP has no right to seek votes in Telangana,” he pointed out. He said that both the national parties would face defeat in the ensuing Parliamentary elections in the State.

KTR pointed out that the people of Warangal were seething with anger at Kadiyam Srihari for the way he deceived the party and joined the Congress. “But the people are with us. And the BRS Warangal candidate Dr Sudhir Kumar is an able person and a very candidate,” he said.

Anticipating a big win in Peddapalli, KTR said that Koppula Eswar too was noncontroversial and a blemishless BRS leader. “With his background as a Telangana activist, he will be the right person to raise the Telangana voice in Lok Sabha,” KTR said.

Making it clear that the BRS would have no problem with the turncoat leaders, he said that the Congress had cheated every community including that of autorickshaw drivers.

“On the other hand, the BJP which has done nothing in the past ten years is trying to incite communal passions to win again. We must counter such moves at the ground level. Every BRS worker must act like a candidate contesting the election and fight,” he said calling upon the cadre.
